Credit card payment, see below:

(plus 6.5% surcharge)
The due amount should be paid at our office or in your hotel at least TWO DAYS prior to the tour or trek departure date, and in the following manner:
- Cash (US$ or local currency);
Important: Bookings should be made as far in advance as possible; for example, there is high demand for the 4 day/3 night Inca Trail all year and we recommend you make your reservation as soon as you have received our confirmation of availability, the high season in the Caribbean are from November to May so is recommended to book the hotel accommodation with time in advanced.
Single Accommodation: Prices are based on twin room accommodation; a single supplement is available and single accommodation can be provided on request and at an additional cost.
Cancellations: In our experience a certain percentage of bookings are cancelled by the client before departure due to some unforeseen circumstance. The penalty for any cancellation of services depends on the date of cancellation, in accordance with the following guidelines (Please note: In the event of cancellation at any time after confirming the purchase of your Inca Trail permit, ticket for any tour, or hotel booking, we will be obliged to charge the full cost of that permit/confirmation):
- 45 days or more before the date of the start of services: only bank charges will not be refunded (except in the case of the Inca Trail permit).
- 44 to 30 days before the date of the start of services: 30% of the deposit will not be refunded.
- 29 to 16 days before the date of the start of services: 40% of the deposit will not be refunded.
- 15 to 07 days before the date of the start of services: 50% of the deposit will not be refunded.
- 06 to 0 days before the date of the start of services: 100% of the deposit will not be refunded.
Regarding cancellation of Inca Trail reservations:
In this case of advance payments for the different treks which include the Inca Trail, such as Inca Trail 4 days/3 nights and Inca Trail 2 days/1 night, the costs of these treks are non-returnable, and include entrance tickets to the Inca Trail, porters, cooks and train tickets. This is because these services are reserved and paid for at the time of booking and these payments are non-returnable.
Failure to Arrive (No show): We will retain the full amount paid and will not be responsible for the failure of the client to arrive due to cancelled or delayed flights. Andean Skyline is not responsible for damage to or loss of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses, unavoidable delays, services provided by third parties or direct or indirect causes beyond our control. In the unfortunate event of a no show due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will provide a certificate to the client for insurance purposes.
Insurance: It is obligatory for all travellers to be adequately insured against personal accident and medical costs. We recommend a short term insurance policy that covers the trip selected with cover in the event of illness, accident, emergency evacuation, costs incurred due to flight delays, schedule changes, delays caused by bad weather, missed connections, strikes, natural disasters, or any unforeseeable events.
About Mountainous Terrain: The mountainous areas where Andean Skyline operates its many programs have a geographical configuration which in its natural state may present difficulties or dangers that may be concealed by snow, grass or vegetation. Some of these difficulties or obstacles might include loose rocks, trees, accumulated vegetation, fast flowing rivers carrying rocks or stones, fallen vegetation, hollows or depressions below the surface, varying water quality and difficult climatic conditions. Due to the presence of natural forests, rough and rugged terrain or bad weather, participants might become lost or separated from their guides or the rest of the group. Communication in mountainous terrain is often difficult and in the case of an accident, immediate rescue and medical assistance may be unavailable. Weather conditions may be extreme and can change quickly and without warning.
Action in case of emergency: In the event of an accident or illness during a trekking activity, Andean Skyline, through its guides or support personnel, will provide all the help possible and if specialist evacuation is required (helicopters, doctors, nurses and other medical assistance beyond first aid treatment) Andean Skyline will not be financially responsible for such services.
At the time of the tour: Our Booking Conditions clearly state that in the event of a passenger leaving the tour for any reason, any extra expenses are the passenger’s own responsibility and the company shall not be liable for any refund, either total or partial, of money paid for any unused services.
In the event of a client leaving the tour of their own volition before completion through sickness, ill health or any other reason whatsoever, all responsibility that the company may bear to the client will immediately cease.
However, the company may provide the client with a written certificate detailing unused services and for insurance purposes only.
Prepaid Hotel Reservations
You acknowledge that the Andean Skyline companies pre-negotiate certain room rates with hotel suppliers to facilitate the booking of reservations. You also acknowledge that the Andean Skyline Companies provide you services to facilitate such booking of reservations for a consideration (the “facilitation fee”). The room rate displayed on the Website is a combination of the pre-negotiated room rate for rooms reserved on your behalf by the Andean Skyline Companies and the facilitation fee retained by the Andean Skyline Companies for their services. You authorize the Andean Skyline Companies to book reservations for the total reservation price, which includes the room rate displayed on the Website, plus tax recovery charges, service fees, and where applicable, taxes on the Andean Skyline Companies’ services. You agree that your credit card will be charged by the Andean Skyline Companies for the total reservation price. Upon submitting your reservation request you authorize the Andean Skyline Companies to facilitate hotel reservations on your behalf, including making payment arrangements with hotel suppliers.
You may cancel or change your prepaid hotel reservation, but you will be charged the cancellation or change fee indicated in the rules and restrictions for the hotel reservation. If you do not cancel or change your reservation before the cancellation policy period applicable to the hotel you reserved, which varies by hotel (usually 24 to 72 hours) prior to your date of arrival, you will be subject to a charge equal to applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges and service fees. In the event you do not show for the first night of the reservation and plan to check-in for subsequent nights in your reservation, you must confirm the reservation changes with us no later than the date of the first night of the reservation to prevent cancellation of your reservation.
Sales, use and/or local hotel occupancy taxes are imposed on the amounts that we charge for our services (facilitation fee and/or service fee) in certain jurisdictions. The actual tax amounts on our services may vary depending on the rates in effect at the time of your hotel stay.
Let us know if you wish to book reservations for 9 or more rooms or a group. You may be asked to sign a written contract and/or pay a nonrefundable deposit.
